Curriculum Vitae (CV)

My name is Anna Zaoutsou, and I am a resident psychiatrist at the General Hospital of Chania, currently in the fifth and final year of my specialization.

In 2007, I was admitted second to the School of Medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, from which I graduated in 2014.
During my studies, I participated in a student exchange program and attended one semester at Université Catholique de Lille (Faculté de Médecine) in France.

I completed my mandatory rural medical service at PEDY Farsalon (Health Center of Farsala) and subsequently began my psychiatry residency training at the General Hospital of Katerini, the University Hospital AHEPA of Thessaloniki, and the General Hospital of Chania.

Throughout my residency, I have gained extensive clinical experience in acute and chronic mental health services, liaison and community psychiatry, psychosocial rehabilitation, and the management of neuropsychological disorders.
At the same time, I invested in expanding my knowledge beyond the hospital setting, participating in educational programs and obtaining certifications from universities in Greece and abroad, focusing on various psychotherapeutic approaches and innovative fields of psychiatry such as Lifestyle Medicine, Nutritional Psychiatry, and Art Therapy.

In addition, I participated in the Training Program in the Field of Addictions (2014–2015) at the Self-Help Promotion Program of Thessaloniki, where I also offered voluntary work.
